About the job
As an Expert by Experience for Addiction Care you collaborate with a team of international and local colleague professionals. Your primary focus is to work together in the proces of recovery of women that temporarily stay in a shelter having fled situations of domestic violence and abuse. You are a good listener, empathetic and you bring in your expertise by experience at the right time. Besides your job as an Expert by Experience you will also be part of one of our mission teams. Each team member in this team is involved in mission related activities. This vacancy provides you with an unique opportunity to establish use and develop your specific talents.

Profile

• You have a personal relationship with God, you practice your faith and are committed to prayer.
• You are a team player, also well able to work independently.
• You are cultural sensitive and always willing to learn.
• You have proven qualification as an Expert by Experience related to Addiction Care.
• You are willing to raise your own funds.
• You are able to communicate well in English, both in spoken and written language. You are willing to learn the main local language.
• You agree with People International’s objectives and are willing to participate in our efforts to pursue these.
