About the job
As a Psychologist you are part of a multidisciplinairy team with international and local colleagues in either an international or local NGO. Your specific knowledge of mental health of human beings is needed for determining the needed treatment or assistance. As a Christian you also are aware of the spiritual dimension in people’s life and you are not afraid to bring this up when appropriate. Besides your professional engagement jobwise, you also will be part of one of our mission teams. Each team member in this team is involved in mission related activities. This vacancy provides you with an unique opportunity to use and develop your professional skills.

Profile

• You have a personal relationship with God, you practice your faith and are committed to prayer.
• You are a team player, also well able to work independently.
• You are cultural sensitive and always willing to learn.
• You have proven qualification and experience to work as a Psychologist.
• If needed, you are willing to raise your own (additional) funds.
• You are able to communicate well in English, both in spoken and written language. You are willing to learn the main local language.
• You agree with People International’s objectives and are willing to participate in our efforts to pursue these.
